Volvo Visionaries Award Win
We are incredibly excited to announce that our founder Natalie Fee has been crowned as this year’s Volvo Visionaries Award winner for the Refill campaign!
Volvo Visionaries celebrates British entrepreneurs who are driven by more than economic growth – those who are working towards building a smarter, safer, healthier, happier, more resourceful and more compassionate place.
Natalie faced some strong competition – from a shortlist of environmentalists, innovators, utopians and humanitarians to take the top slot, securing funding to help us expand the campaign.
The Volvo Visionary 2019 judges were looking for an original idea with the potential to change the world for the better. Nat was awarded for being “a great visionary thinker” with the potential to “make a big difference and positive impact on society in the short and long term” through Refill.
The big vision is to “see people buying less bottled water” resulting in a “big dent in the bottled water industry”.
Refill hopes to grow globally, to have stations in all airports and train stations and the £60,000 award will help us to fund this.
