Being a seaside town it is very important to keep the plastic litter to a minimum and to keep it out of the sea. Tywyn have many visitors throughout the year and so this Refill scheme will be a bonus for local businesses to offer to their customers.

Their mission “is to act as an instrument of positive environmental change in Tywyn and the surrounding area. We are a voluntary group concerned with raising awareness on green living, organic growing, renewable energy, recycling, cutting carbon emissions and fostering environmentally sustainable solutions for and with our community.”
