It’s time to Rethink Water

Rethink Water is a bespoke education programme that aims to empower children to become responsible consumers of water.

Water is a precious, finite resource that is needed for life on earth. In the UK, we are very fortunate to have some of the highest quality tap water in the world. The Rethink Water programme will help to uncover the truth behind the myths on tap and bottled water; educate children about why we should reuse and refill and enable them to discover top tips on saving water.

Why should you get involved?

Signing up to the Rethink Water programme will help your school achieve the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals targets and to achieve the UK Government target of schools going single-use plastic-free by 2022. Being part of the programme will also help your school be recognised in the International Eco Schools Green Flag award.

Resources for Schools

We have collaborated with qualified teachers to create assemblies, lesson plans and lesson resources to use in your school.

Rethink Water is currently in its pilot phase and only our pilot schools are trialling these resources. We hope to share these with schools nationwide soon. If you are interested in receiving an email letting you know when these are live please contact [email protected].
