User agreement (terms of Use)

 

Introduction

This User Agreement governs your access to and use of the Refill Return mobile application and related services.

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the App.

Purpose of the App

The App is designed to help users find locations where free drinking water may be available for refilling reusable bottles.

All information is provided for general guidance only and may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date.

Your responsibilities

When using the App, you agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes
  • Verify information (such as availability and opening hours) before relying on it
  • Respect the rules and property rights of listed venues
  • Not misuse, copy, or interfere with the App or its data
  • Not submit false, misleading, or harmful information

Accuracy of information

We do not guarantee that:

  • Refill points will always be available
  • Information is complete, accurate, or current
  • Third-party locations will provide access without restriction

You use all information in the App at your own risk.

Health and safety

We do not guarantee:

  • Water quality, safety, or suitability for drinking
  • Hygiene standards at listed locations

You are responsible for making your own judgement before consuming water from any location.

Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the App are owned by or licensed to Ecosurety Limited.

You must not copy, reproduce, modify, or reverse engineer any part of the App without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from use of the App
  • We are not responsible for third-party locations or services
  • We are not liable for inaccuracies or interruptions

Availability of the App

We may:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time
  • Update or remove features without notice

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

User data and privacy

We are committed to protecting your personal data in line with UK data protection law.

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this Agreement.

Personal data we may collect includes:

  • Device and technical information (such as IP address and device identifiers)
  • Location data (where enabled)
  • App usage and interaction data
  • Information you provide directly

Advertising and tracking

We use advertising and analytics tools to understand how users interact with the App and to measure campaign performance.

This may include:

  • Ad clicks and engagement
  • App installs
  • In-app activity

We may work with partners including:

  • TikTok
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
  • Google
  • Apple

This data helps us:

  • Attribute installs and usage to marketing campaigns
  • Improve performance and user experience
  • Deliver relevant advertising

Your continued use of the App confirms your acceptance of any changes.
