Refill Lichfield was launched in March 2018 by local volunteer Jane Dayus-Hinch and her very willing group of volunteers from ‘Transition and Low Carbon Lichfield’. Teaming-up with South Staffs Water, Lichfield soon became one of the most eco-energised cities to sign-up to the Refill initiative.
South Staffs Water sees Lichfield as the starting point for a wider roll-out across the Company’s area of supply, both here in the South Staffs area and also in the Cambridge Water region. Not only will we help our customers and visitors cut down on plastic waste but it will help bring together local communities by expanding the number of local ‘Refill Stations’ in cafes, bars, local shops and restaurants.
Everybody wins! If you live in the South Staffs or Cambridge regions and you’d like your local town or community to get involved, please contact stevecolella @ south-staffs-
